Invitation to order the numismatic products for 2022

We hereby notify all those interested in purchasing the new editions of numismatic products issued in 2022 and sold by Banka Slovenije (hereinafter: BS) that on 27th of January 2022 BS started accepting orders for their purchase via its new online ordering system at the following link. You can also place your orders in written form by post, by printing and filling out the online 2022 Numismatic Products Order Form and sending it to the following address by registered mail with confirmation of receipt: Banka Slovenije, Gotovinsko poslovanje, Slovenska 35, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenija marked "DO NOT OPEN – NUMISMATIC ORDER".

The following products are expected to be available for purchase in 2022:

  1. Gold coin (150th anniversary of the birth of the painter Matija Jama),
  2. Silver coin (150th anniversary of the birth of the painter Matija Jama),
  3. 3-euro BU collector coin (150th anniversary of the birth of the painter Matija Jama),
  4. 3-euro proof collector coin (150th anniversary of the birth of the painter Matija Jama),
  5. 2-euro BU Slovenian commemorative coin (150th anniversary of the birth of the architect Jože Plečnik),
  6. 2-euro proof Slovenian commemorative coin (150th anniversary of the birth of the architect Jože Plečnik),
  7. 2-euro BU common European commemorative coin (35th anniversary of the Erasmus programme),
  8. 2-euro proof common European commemorative coin (35th anniversary of the Erasmus programme),
  9. 2022 BU coin set,
  10. 2022 proof coin set.

The minted quantities of the numismatic products available for purchase in 2022 and their selling prices are posted at List of numismatic products and selling prices (bsi.si). If more numismatic products are available for purchase at an individual sales point than there are recorded orders, all those interested in purchasing them will be able to purchase them freely despite the limited quantities defined upon placing their order.

The order quantities for natural persons and legal entities are limited. The limitations are detailed in the General Terms and Conditions for Ordering the 2022 Numismatic Products. If there are sufficient numismatic products available to cover all the orders received, BS will reserve the ordered product quantity for every buyer. Products for which the orders may exceed the quantity available for sale will be distributed among the buyers by a draw (the products will be reserved for the buyers selected in the draw).

Any products that the buyers selected in the draw that they fail to collect by the agreed deadline will be made available for purchase via the existing sales points.

The deadline or open period for placing orders is twenty-one (21) days, from 27th of January 2022 to 16th of February 2022. Late orders will not be considered. Orders by post shall be deemed to arrive in time if BS receives them no later then noon on 18th of February 2022.

The reserved products can be collected and purchased within fourteen (14) days, from 2nd of March 2022 to 15th of March 2022, at the sales point selected when placing the order. Collection within the specified deadline will be possible for all products, except for the 2-euro commemorative coin issued on the 35th anniversary of the Erasmus program, which is expected to be issued in July 2022.

To avoid crowding at the collection points, all buyers are kindly advised not to visit the selected location to complete their payment and collect their items on the first day of the collection period, because the ordered items will be reserved for them up until the end of that period.
