Invitation to order numismatic products for 2023

On Monday, 12 June 2023, Banka Slovenije will start accepting orders for the purchase of occasional coins to be issued this year. They will commemorate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Slovenian writer Boris Pahor, the 150th anniversary of the birth of Slovenian mathematician Josip Plemelj and the national holiday Slovenian Sports Day. You are invited to place your order by 30 July 2023.

The selected numismatic products can be ordered via Banka Slovenije's online ordering system from 12 June to 30 July 2023. The order quantity is limited for both natural and legal persons, while information on the number of coins coined and the selling prices of the products will be published here.

If there are sufficient numismatic products available to cover all the orders received, Banka Slovenije will reserve the ordered product quantity for every buyer. Products for which the orders may exceed the quantity available for sale will be distributed among the buyers in accordance with the 2023 General Terms and Conditions for Ordering Banka Slovenije's Numismatic Products. If more numismatic products are available for purchase at an individual sales point than there are recorded orders, all those interested in purchasing them will be able to purchase them freely (despite the limited quantities defined upon placing their order). The reserved coins will be available for purchase and collection in the second half of September 2023, with the exception of the commemorative coin issued to mark the 150th anniversary of the Josip Plemelj’s birth, and the 2023 coin sets, which are expected to be released in December of this year.

The interested will be informed in due time about the exact dates of the release of individual types of products for sale and circulation, as well as the collection points and deadlines for the ordered products via the Bank of Slovenia's website or via e-mail in the case of online ordering.
