Annual Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group

The Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WB) take place in Marrakech, Morocco until 15 October.

In the role of the Governor of the IMF's Board of Governors, Governor Vasle is attending the meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC), which meets twice a year during every Spring Meetings and autumn Annual Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank. The IMFC discusses current developments in global economy and international financial markets, the consequences of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the increasing fragmentation of economies and the strengthening of international cooperation and the Bretton Woods institutions in view of the development of the global economy. The IMF’s Global Policy Agenda is also being presented. Governor Vasle and other Slovenian delegates are also attending a number of other multilateral and bilateral meetings. The Governor is also participating in the Marrakesh Economic Festival.
