Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group

Next week, from 15 to 20 April, the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WB) will take place in Washington, D.C.

Governor Vasle will attend the meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC), which meets twice a year during every Spring Meetings and autumn Annual Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank. The IMFC will discuss current developments in global economy and international financial markets, economic fragmentation stemming from geopolitical tensions, supporting the IMF in providing financial assistance to Member States, further strengthening international cooperation, macroeconomic outlook and possible policy responses. Governor Vasle and other Slovenian delegates with also attend a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of the IMF.
