Meeting of the Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia

1) The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia discussed economic developments in Slovenia and in the rest of the world, as well as price trends and possible risks related to price stability. It approved the release of the Report on Economic and Financial Developments for April 2011 and the Report on Slovenia's Economic Relations with the Rest of the World for February 2011. In light of the adverse trends on the labour market, the deterioration in merchandise trade at the beginning of the year and Slovenia's international investment position, the Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia also discussed the latest price and cost competitiveness indicators. 
2) The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia discussed the current operations of banks, developments on the capital markets and developments in the area of interest rates.
3) The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia discussed Slovenia's quarterly financial accounts data and approved them for release on the Bank of Slovenia's website.
