Meeting of the Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia of 16 March 2010

1. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia adopted the following regulations:

- Regulation amending the Regulation on the Calculation of Capital Requirements for Credit Risk under the Internal Ratings-Based Approach for Banks and Savings Banks,

- Regulation amending the Regulation on the General Rules for Monetary Policy Implementation, and

- Regulation on the Issue of Collector Coins for sale and circulation to mark the nomination of Ljubljana "The World Book Capital" (2010) (4,000 gold coins, 6,000 silver coins and bicoloured collector coins). The coins will be on sale at Deželna banka Slovenije d.d. and in circulation as from 12 April 2010.

2. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia was briefed on the following numismatic products issued by the Bank of Slovenia:

a. 5,000 coin cards and 5,000 special capsules with a bicoloured €3 proof collector coin to mark the nomination of Ljubljana "The World Book Capital";

b. 5,000 coin cards and 10,000 special capsules with a €2 proof commemorative coin to mark the 200th Anniversary of the Botanical Gardens in Ljubljana;

c. a collection set of euro coins, minted in 2010 and comprising all nominal value euro coins with the Slovenian national obverse, a bicoloured €3 collector coin to mark the nomination of Ljubljana "The World Book Capital" and a €2 commemorative coin to mark the 200th Anniversary of the Botanic Gardens in Ljubljana (70,000 sets in standard BU quality and 5,000 sets in proof quality).

The €3 collector coins will be on sale as from 12 April 2010. The collection sets of euro coins (including the €3 collector coin) and the €2 commemorative coins are expected to be on sale from 10 May 2010.

3. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia was briefed on the report on payment-systems operations in the last quarter of 2009.

4. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia approved the Bank of Slovenia 2010 award competition for the best Bologna master's theses and the former four-year graduate-studies' theses.
