  1. At today's meeting, the Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia discussed the second amendment to the Euro Adoption Plan and took note of the state of preparations for the adoption of the euro at the national level. Assessments from the sector coordinators for preparations indicate there are no special difficulties and they are concluding preparations in accordance with sector plans. The second amendment to the Euro Adoption Plan will be accessible to the public after it has also been discussed by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
  2. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia has issued authorizations to Sibil Svilan, Marko Plahuta and Jože Bradeško to assume the function of management board members of SID – Slovenska izvozna in razvojna banka d.d.
  3. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia has authorized Slovenska izvozna družba, družba za zavarovanje in financiranje izvoza Slovenije d.d., to perform the banking services of accepting deposits and issuing credits for its own account and other financial services as follows: factoring; issuance of guarantees and other warranties; lending, including mortgage loans and the financing of commercial transactions; trading in foreign legal tender; trading in financial derivatives; and the collection, analysis and dissemination of information regarding the creditworthiness of legal entities.
  4. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia has also amended the Decision on Settlements among Payment Executors. The decision relates to compliance with the newly defined payment system concept and the determination of methods and deadlines for reporting to members in payment systems. The concept of the payment system is defined in the same manner as in the Payment Transactions Act, considering the special role of the operator of the payment system.
