Banka Slovenije strengthens its dialogue with businesses

Banka Slovenije hopes to strengthen its dialogue with businesses, where our key aim is exchanging views of the current economic situation and the expected developments in the economy, thus deepening our understanding of the current situation. With this in mind, today we played host to representatives of major Slovenian firms in pharmaceuticals, the car industry, the energy sector and retail. Expectations of future price developments from the perspective of the impact of disruptions to supply chains, the labour market situation and its impact on wage policy, and developments in energy and commodity prices were at the forefront of the discussions. We also highlighted other contemporary challenges to corporate performance, such as digitalisation and sustainable development.
